The Syldavic Republic, or just Syldavica for short, is a micronation located in southern Serbia. It is not recognized by any other recognized state.

It was founded by Josef Karyn and Oleksandr Shirov in January 2013. Josef Karyn was to be declared the first Prime Minister of the republic, and Shirov was given the title of Chancellor.

In late 2014 Karyn stepped down as Prime Minister and Shirov took the role. He began a constitutional reform that would make Syldavica a presidential republic. But he could not keep his popularity in the National Assembly, and he was forced to step down. Peter Abanov was to become the first Prime Minister that had been elected through a democratic process. Abanov had the same ambition as Shirov about creating a presidential republic, and he continued to work on his predecessor's reforms.

On July 12th, 2015, Fyodor Rodin tried to seize power and establish a dictatorship. The Syldavic Civil War raged for eight months, until the republican forces managed to capture Rodin, who was then exiled to Serbia.

After the chaos of the Civil War, Abanov retired early and Giorgi Solzek was elected as Prime Minister. He was fiercely conservative and immediately took back the reforms of Shirov and Abanov. Solzek then started an economic program and established relations with other micronations.

Solzek was the longest sitting Prime Minister of Syldavica. In August 2018 he retired and allowed Dmitri Vasely to become his successor.

Vasely has during his short period of being in power created many reforms to help the Syldavican economy and has tried to make Serbia recognize Syldavica as a legitimate state.
